On today’s episode of the Broken Mindz Podcast! We had a conversation with Taylor Myers, formally known as Miss Tayy Music, and when I tell you! That God will answer the call of his children! He certainly will.

And hey! I know what you are saying, “Well God is too grand for me, and He just won’t listen to what I have to say,” Well let me challenge you by saying this, Is God too far away from you, or are you just drifting so far away from His presence and blaming it on Him?

Don’t believe me? Alright picture this, let’s say you are in the mist of utter hell, hey! Maybe that was last tuesday for you, but you are crying out to God! Crying out to God! And crying back to Him His word! Because we know that according to Isaiah 62:6-7 the Bible says:

“I HAVE POSTED WATCHMAN ON YOUR WALLS JERUSALEM, THEY WILL NEVER BE SILENT DAY OR NIGHT.

WHOEVER CALLS ON THE LORD, DO NOT GIVE YOURSELVES ANY REST,

AND DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY REST UNTIL HE ESTABLISHES JERUSALEM AND MAKES IT AN OBJECT OF PRAISE THROUGHOUT THE EARTH.” (GW)

“Okay, well this sounds like a bunch of confusing jargon,” Okay! And you would be right but take this to the MSG translation and it says,

❝

I’VE POSTED WATCHMAN AT YOUR WALLS, JERUSALEM. DAY AND NIGHT THEY KEEP AT IT, PRAYING, CALLING OUT, REMINDING GOD TO REMEMBER.

THEY ARE TO GIVE HIM NO PEACE UNTIL HE DOES WHAT HE SAID, UNTIL HE MAKES JERUSALEM FAMOUS AS THE CITY OF PRAISE.” (ISAIAH 62:6-7, MSG)

This verse here teaches us not to let up on our prayers! Not to give up and not to concede until God has answered us! Now Miss Tayy! She was in a hard spot in life, she was at her wits end and honestly, she decided to call out to God! And at that moment driving on a four-lane highway, she was super out of it! Told God, “If you are real!! Take over this vehicle,” and guess what y’all she let go of the wheel and by the power of God! Ended up swerving safely to the side of the road alive to tell the tail!

But what about you!? When you go through tough times, what is your response? Do you cry out to God or do you just whipper and well just…. Cry! Hey, my Late Spiritual Father, Pastor Paul Santos had this to say about the rough times of life:

“ARE YOU GOING THOUGH HARD TIMES?

GOOD! WELL! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

ARE YOU GONNA SIT THERE ON YOUR BUTT AND CRY LIKE A BABY! OR ARE YOU GOING TO PUT YOUR FAITH INTO ACTION AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. - Pastor Paul Santos

“Okay, okay! We hear you, but how! How do I cry out to God even in my hardest moments?” well I am so glad you asked!

Hey, one of my favorite Bible verses is Romans 8:28! It states that “And we know all things work together for the good of those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (NKJV) Now let’s break that down, well ask yourself this, “what does it mean to love God, and well how do you do it?”

Deuteronomy 6:5 says this, “You shall love the Love your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” (NKJV)

Okay so let’s land this plane here, walk with me.

Alright, so you are going through hell in your life, and you are calling out to JESUS!!! But it seems like Jesus changed His phone number or maybe His doorbell just is not working.

But here’s the truth, we are crying out to JESUS!! But you refuse to give your heart…. Your soul… And your strength to Him so he can answer you?

Because remember, Romans 8:28 applies for those who love God right, okay, well if you are not fully committed to the Lord and love Him on all counts, then you might just be crying aimlessly and not crying out to God.

And if you are not crying out to God then to who are you crying to? Because God does not answer to all cries, and that can be found in Matthew 7:21! But that’s an Article for next time!

All and all we must cry out to God in times of trouble, but let’s ask ourselves this question, “Am I actually crying out to my Lord! Or am I just crying and blaming my Lord for not answering me?”

Michelin Andre was born in the city of Trenton, New Jersey. He was raised in a Christian household in which Christ was and is the center of it all. At the age of 10, Michelin accepted Christ as His personal Savior and was baptized on December 30, 2005.
