Hey! Do you have a broken mind? Yeah, I know that can be a very strong question, but truly think about it! In what ways are you broken, shattered, torn apart and sometimes just feeling alone. Personally, I felt my broken heart the strongest when my mother passed away close to a decade ago, I was super young, alone, and honestly I hated God for taking her away.

As a kid I didn’t know what grief felt like, I just imagined we’d all live forever and nobody would pass on. Throughout my teens I was torn, I battled with intense thoughts of suicide and shame, ashamed that my life was ten steps behind my peers in the social aspects, like I completely lost grasp of who I was, and to be 100% honest! I never knew who I was in the first place.

I just lived within a mental bubble subjected to the torments of my alternative personality, yes, I was so alone I created this character in my mind named him, “Joey” and from this façade I made friends, well friends online, but you know beggars can’t be choosers.

I used this alternative character in ways that truly did not reflect my real personality! Because I was ashamed of who I was! I was scared nobody would like an awkward emotional kid who just doesn’t know who to stand up for himself.

Y’all! I now realize that I was operating off a Broken Mind, and pretty much I faked my whole life; I lived a complete lie! And today with the launch of this newsletter, I want you to ask yourself, “Well hey! Do I have a broken mind?”
